Every Eterno activation is more than an exclusive experience—it is a direct contribution to transforming one of the most carbon-intensive industries in the world. Our activations with ultra-high-end brands provide one-of-a-kind experiences to their top collectors and clientele, but the model is designed so that the revenue from each activation directly funds environmental change.
How it works: Each activation is a paid partnership ranging from $25,000 to $150,000. With a cost basis of approximately $15,000, every dollar above that threshold is directed into the Eterno Impact Fund—a dedicated pool that licenses Eterno’s patented in-bottle maturation technology for free to the most sustainability-inefficient spirits and wine producers around the world.
The purpose is to remove the cost barrier entirely. When producers experience the technology firsthand—seeing 92% carbon reduction and ~70% cost savings—adoption becomes self-sustaining. We start with the smaller players who need the savings most. These impacts compound as converted producers become advocates and the technology proves out across bourbon, whisky, rum, tequila, mezcal, and wine.
A single $100,000 activation generates $85,000 for the Impact Fund—enough to subsidize free licensing for a bourbon producer making 150,000 bottles annually. At ~175 bottles per barrel = 857 barrels, at ~2 barrels per tree, that’s ~430 ancient oak trees—each 70–100 years old—saved, plus ~294,000 lbs of CO₂ eliminated from transport, warehousing, and cooperage.
Additionally, 20% of all Eterno Raíz tequila and mezcal bottle sales are directed to the Impact Fund, ensuring continuous capital for the free licensing program as the brand scales.
